Seyifunmi’s  Letter to all Nigerians.

Hello, due to the happenings in Ikorodu, Lagos  I write you this letter.
To the residents of Lagos state.
Don’t go to Ikorodu for now. If you must go ensure that;
• The person you are going to visit is aware of your visit.
• You are with your ID (Identity Card). Your Lagos State Residential Agency Card, work ID Card or school ID Card and your National Identity Card.
• Don’t wander around a particular place in Ikorodu.
• Don’t run when the vigilantees or residents of Ikorodu question your Move.
• Don’t go to Ikorodu between the hours of 8:00pm and 7:00am.
• Be sensitive
To the residents outside Lagos  state.
Don’t visit Ikorodu for now.. If you must visit ensure that;
• The person you are coming to visit is aware of your visit.
• You are with your ID(Identity Card). Your work ID Card or school ID Card and your National Identity Card.
• Don’t wander around a particular place in Ikorodu.
• Don’t run when the vigilantees or residents of Ikorodu question your Move.
• The person you are coming to visit in Ikorodu comes to pick  you up if possible.
• Stay at the airport or bus stop and wait for a clear prescription of your destination.
• Travel with excess. Should in case you arrived past 8pm, lodge in the nearest hotel. Don’t risk it. 
• Be sensitive
To the residents outside Nigeria.
Don’t come to Ikorodu for now . If you have to come, with the above words I am sure you know what to do...
This Letter was written not to scare you or taint Ikorodu negatively. Rather, it was written to save lives.


On Sunday, 2nd July, 2017 three men were burnt. I am not saying they were innocent. The one person that was burnt on, 5th July, 2017 and the testimony of a guy who escaped  death on Friday, 7th July, 2017 caught my attention.
Let’s save a live (If not some lives).
