One person shot during violent Charlotte protest; officer hurt
One person has been shot and killed by another civilian in second night of violent protests over Tuesday's officer-involved shooting, the city of Charlotte, North Carolina, has tweeted.
Police fired tear gas while demonstrators threw objects and tried to damage vehicles. The protests are continuing.
On Tuesday, Keith Lamont Scott, a father of seven, was killed by police in an apartment complex parking lot as officers looked for another man named in a warrant they were trying to serve.
